SDK Deep Dive
The Transcendent Sound SDK is a licensable modular framework currently available for Apple platforms. Capabilities include real-time audio processing, low-latency audio buffering, mixing of deep voice hierarchies, surround channel output, ambient and non-repetitive sound generation, and music production.
Core, the heart of our SDK, is founded on fast audio buffering with an average nominal latency of 12ms between queueing and hearing the result. Support is built in for sophisticated voice hierarchies and enveloping, surround and 3D audio channels, and real-time customizable audio effects in both time and frequency domains. Using only a fraction of CPU overhead, our driving force was to create a capable audio pipeline that imposes no drop frames at 100 FPS.
Scene, our patent-pending continuous and patternless sound production technology provides a unique, non-repetitive listening experience ideally suited to background ambience. With the ability to generate and play arbitrarily long sequences of unique audio from small finite audio sources, our technology significantly increases listening realism while dramatically decreasing asset storage requirements.
Stage, the world is listening: while audio buffer production is ideal for applications that render audio for export or playback using pre-existing solutions, some applications need a high-quality audio player. This component of our SDK provides modern battery-friendly audio playback technology that fully supports AirPlay 2 and provides easy and full-featured application integration.
Synth, the musical component of our SDK, is under active development and will provide integration of musical elements for truly unique traditional and non-repetitive musical experiences. It will also provide high-quality and realistic sound synthesis and music production features, further enhancing our SDK for use with professional studio tools and real-time music rendering.
